CertiGo Privacy Policy & Legal Disclosure

Effective Date: [10.11.2023]

Last Updated: [I30.12.2025]

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy and Legal Disclosure (“Policy”) explains how CertiGo (“CertiGo”, “we”, “our”, “us”) operates as an independent online platform, how we process personal data, and how legal responsibility is allocated between CertiGo, users, and third-party service providers (“Providers”).

CertiGo is designed to help users discover and access independent local Providers, including but not limited to: tour operators, guides, travel activity providers, transfer services, jewelers, retail shops, tattoo studios, dentists, dental clinics, and aesthetic service businesses. CertiGo may also provide operational support such as coordination, scheduling assistance, and communication facilitation. However, CertiGo does not directly provide regulated professional services (including medical or dental treatment), and CertiGo does not act as the Provider of the underlying service.

By accessing or using the CertiGo website, social media channels, messaging systems (including WhatsApp), or any related tools (collectively, the “Platform”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Policy.

2. Definitions

  • Platform: The CertiGo website, related pages, embedded booking or inquiry systems, social media profiles, messaging channels, and any digital tools used for coordination.
  • User: Any person who visits, contacts, or uses the Platform, including prospective customers and customers.
  • Provider: Any independent third-party business or professional that publishes an offer, listing, advertisement, service description, or receives inquiries through CertiGo (e.g., tour operator, guide, jeweler, shop, dentist, clinic).
  • Listing: Any Provider content published on the Platform, including service descriptions, images, prices (if shown), availability, policies, and promotional materials.
  • Coordination: Non-medical, non-professional support activities such as scheduling, communication facilitation, translation support, and basic operational assistance.

3. CertiGo’s Role: Independent Marketplace Platform (No Direct Provision of Services)

CertiGo operates as a marketplace-style platform that enables Providers to publish independent Listings and allows Users to make inquiries, request availability, or initiate contact with Providers. CertiGo’s role is strictly limited to information, visibility, and coordination.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, CertiGo:

  • does not act as the seller, operator, or direct provider of tours, transfers, guiding services, retail products, dental services, or medical services;
  • does not employ Providers or control their professional decision-making;
  • does not guarantee outcomes, results, availability, service quality, safety, or regulatory compliance of Providers;
  • does not create a professional-client relationship (including doctor–patient or dentist–patient relationships);
  • does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, treatment plans, or clinical recommendations.

All services displayed on the Platform are offered and delivered by Providers as independent third parties. The contractual relationship for any underlying service is formed between the User and the Provider, not between the User and CertiGo.

4. Provider Independence & Legal Responsibility Allocation

Providers are independent businesses and/or licensed professionals who remain fully responsible for their own operations, compliance, and legal obligations. This includes (without limitation): licensing, permits, tax compliance, insurance, staff qualifications, consumer obligations, health and safety requirements, advertising restrictions, professional standards, and any sector-specific regulations.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, each Provider is solely responsible for:

  • the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their Listings and statements;
  • the services they perform and deliver, including safety procedures and operational execution;
  • all professional decisions and conduct (including medical/dental decisions where applicable);
  • pricing, refunds, cancellations, changes, and customer service;
  • any claims, disputes, injuries, losses, damages, delays, or incidents arising from their services or products.

CertiGo’s role is limited to platform facilitation and coordination. CertiGo does not assume and does not accept Provider responsibilities.

5. CertiGo Quality Screening & Platform Oversight (Non-Guarantee)

CertiGo may apply internal screening methods to improve platform trust and user experience. Such screening may include: basic verification checks, operational observations, user feedback review, service consistency monitoring, or other internal evaluation steps (“Platform Screening”).

Important: Platform Screening is not a certification, not an accreditation, and not a legal guarantee. Screening does not replace official licensing bodies, professional regulators, or government oversight. CertiGo does not warrant that any Provider is compliant at all times, nor does CertiGo guarantee service outcomes.

CertiGo may remove, suspend, restrict, or update Listings at its discretion if it believes a Listing may be misleading, harmful, non-compliant, or inconsistent with platform standards. However, CertiGo is not obligated to monitor every Listing continuously and does not accept legal responsibility for Provider misconduct.

6. Categories of Providers & Specific Disclaimers

6A. Tours, Activities, Excursions & Guiding Services

Tour and activity services displayed on the Platform are operated by independent Providers such as tour operators, travel agencies, guides, boat operators, jeep safari operators, or other activity businesses. CertiGo does not operate tours directly unless explicitly stated in writing.

Users acknowledge that tours and outdoor activities may involve inherent risks (e.g., transportation, weather conditions, sea conditions, physical activity). Providers are solely responsible for safety procedures, equipment, route decisions, driver qualifications, insurance obligations, and compliance with applicable tourism regulations.

6B. Transfers & Transportation Services

Transfer and transportation services (including airport transfers or local transfers) are delivered by independent transportation Providers. CertiGo does not function as a transportation operator unless explicitly stated in writing. Providers are responsible for vehicle safety, licensing, driver requirements, insurance, route decisions, and legal compliance.

6C. Retail, Jewelry, Shopping & Commercial Services

Shops, jewelers, and retail Providers published on the Platform are independent businesses responsible for product quality, authenticity claims, warranties, returns, consumer rights obligations, pricing practices, invoices, and tax compliance. CertiGo does not manufacture, sell, or warrant products unless explicitly stated.

Any purchase agreement, warranty, or after-sales obligation is strictly between the User and the retail Provider.

6D. Tattoo & Aesthetic Services (Non-Medical)

Tattoo studios and aesthetic service Providers are independent businesses responsible for hygiene practices, consent procedures, legal compliance, safety standards, and aftercare instructions. CertiGo does not provide such services and does not warrant outcomes. Users must communicate directly with the Provider regarding safety, allergies, contraindications, and aftercare.

6E. Dental Services & Medical-Related Services (Coordination Only)

CertiGo is not a dental clinic, not a hospital, and not a medical provider. CertiGo does not diagnose, treat, or perform any medical or dental procedure. Any dental or medical-related services referenced on the Platform are provided solely by independent, licensed healthcare Providers.

CertiGo’s role is limited to non-medical coordination such as communication support, scheduling assistance, and process facilitation. All clinical decisions, treatment plans, procedures, patient consent, and medical obligations are exclusively the responsibility of the licensed Provider and the User.

Content on the Platform regarding dental topics is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Users should obtain professional medical advice directly from qualified healthcare professionals.

7. No Medical Advice; No Professional Advice

All information on the Platform is general and informational. Nothing on the Platform constitutes medical advice, dental advice, legal advice, financial advice, or professional advice. Users must consult qualified professionals for decisions involving health, medical conditions, treatments, or regulated professional services.

8. Pricing, Availability, Promotions & Listing Accuracy

Providers may publish prices, availability, and service descriptions. Such information may change without notice. CertiGo does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of Provider information. The Provider is solely responsible for correct pricing, availability status, inclusions, exclusions, and conditions.

Users are responsible for confirming all critical details directly with the Provider before committing to any purchase or booking decision.

9. Bookings, Inquiries, Payments & Contract Formation

CertiGo may enable Users to submit inquiries, request availability, or coordinate scheduling. Unless clearly stated otherwise, CertiGo does not collect payments as the seller of Provider services and does not become a contractual party to the underlying service.

Where a User proceeds with a booking or purchase, the agreement for service delivery is formed directly between the User and the Provider. Providers are responsible for issuing relevant invoices, receipts, confirmations, and for implementing refund/cancellation rules.

10. Commission, Referral Fees & Platform Revenue Model

CertiGo may earn revenue through platform fees, marketing fees, referral fees, or service/coordination fees paid by Providers. Users do not pay CertiGo for Provider services unless explicitly stated for separate, optional platform coordination services.

CertiGo’s receipt of fees from Providers does not change Provider independence and does not make CertiGo the Provider of the underlying service.

11. Dispute Resolution Between Users and Providers

Disputes related to service performance, quality, refunds, cancellations, delays, injuries, losses, product issues, warranties, professional conduct, or medical outcomes must be addressed directly with the Provider. CertiGo may, at its discretion, facilitate communication, collect basic incident information, or support users with coordination. However, CertiGo is not obligated to resolve Provider disputes and does not accept legal liability for Provider actions.

12. Limitation of Liability (Platform-Level)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CertiGo shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to: Provider services, Provider misconduct, inaccurate Listings, service disruptions, injuries, losses, delays, cancellations, professional outcomes, or third-party acts/omissions.

CertiGo provides the Platform on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or that the Platform will meet every user requirement.

Nothing in this Policy limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

13. Personal Data We Collect

CertiGo may collect personal data when Users interact with the Platform, including:

  • Identity and contact details (e.g., name, phone number, email);
  • Communication data (e.g., WhatsApp messages, inquiry content);
  • Reservation or inquiry details (e.g., requested dates, number of participants);
  • Technical data (e.g., IP address, device information, browser type);
  • Usage data (e.g., pages visited, interactions, referral sources);
  • Any additional information voluntarily provided by the User.

14. How We Use Personal Data

We process personal data for legitimate platform operations, including:

  • responding to inquiries and requests;
  • facilitating coordination between Users and Providers;
  • operating, maintaining, and improving the Platform;
  • preventing fraud and maintaining security;
  • providing customer support and operational follow-up;
  • meeting legal obligations where applicable.

15. Sharing Data With Providers & Third Parties

CertiGo may share relevant User data with Providers when needed to fulfill an inquiry or coordination request. Providers receive only the data necessary to respond and deliver their services.

We may also share data with third-party service partners (e.g., hosting providers, analytics tools, messaging platforms) to operate the Platform. Such parties are expected to process data in accordance with applicable data protection standards.

16. Cookies & Analytics

CertiGo may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience, analyze traffic, and improve performance. Users may adjust browser settings to refuse or limit cookies. Some platform features may not function properly without cookies.

17. Data Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmissions.

18. Data Retention

CertiGo retains personal data only as long as necessary for coordination, platform operations, legal obligations, or dispute support. Data may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required.

19. User Rights

Depending on applicable law, Users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of their personal data. Users may also request information regarding how their data is processed.

To exercise rights, Users may contact CertiGo through official contact channels listed on the Platform.

20. International Users

CertiGo may be used by international Users. By using the Platform, Users acknowledge that their data may be processed in jurisdictions necessary for platform operations and communication tools. CertiGo takes reasonable steps to protect data in line with applicable requirements.

21. Changes to This Policy

CertiGo may update this Policy from time to time to reflect operational changes, legal requirements, or platform improvements. Updates become effective when published on this page. Users are responsible for reviewing the Policy periodically.
